legal question Can an employer dictate as to when a notice period shall be served? I am full time employed and receive a salary every month but work out of SA on a rotational basis. (6 weeks on 4 weeks off) My employer has advised that my notice can only be given while I am "on" thus effectively increasing notice and hampering the opportunity of getting a new job.
