In order to support a growing client list, Radiant Law, winner of a Financial Times Legal Industry Pioneer award, is looking for a Junior Legal Advisor to support our commercial contracts team based in Cape Town.
The role includes (but is not limited to):
being the first point of call for receiving and allocating work instructions from clients;
managing workflows and account data, metrics and administration;
document automation support;
drafting, reviewing and improving a wide range of contracts;
delivering work to clients within agreed timescales;
carrying out conflict checks;
capturing knowledge in playbooks and other areas of reference and
identifying and supporting opportunities for continuous improvement.

Articles are not necessary (we can support you with achieving this after a probationary period), but the ideal candidate will:
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build lasting relationships with clients;
demonstrate initiative and an innovative mindset;
be comfortable working autonomously as well as in a strong team environment;
have the ability to review, assess and draft contracts;
be comfortable meeting tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, changeable environment;
be diligent with a strong attention to detail;
be hardworking and enthusiastic, with a “can do” attitude;
have intermediate Microsoft Office skills and
demonstrate leadership skills even at the most junior level.
